Again, Panerai made use of special materials and surface treatments, although not a carbon fiber composite as in the case of the Submersible.
Functions and characteristics
The material used is DLC treated titanium,
which as known guarantees good resistance to shocks and scratches.
With the calendar at 3 o’clock and the small seconds at 9 o’clock,
the 44mm dial exhibits a similar effect to what is expected on the Submersible. The bezel is also made of titanium,
as is the screw back covered entirely in black and on which the majestic engraving of the boat of which this Panerai collection bears the name,
also common to the other models in the collection,
stands out.
