By air
If you are traveling from your hometown by airways then the nearest international airport is Chandigarh.
By road
If you are traveling by roadways then you can drive easily to Manali, because most of the routes are well connected to Manali.
By railways
If you are traveling by railways then the nearest railway station is Joginder Nagar and other stations are Chandigarh and Pathankot.
Routes for the trek
First you have to reach the starting point at Solang valley in Manali, it will take 4-5 hours and the distance is 6.7 kilometers. You can get a taxi for Manali to Solang valley that will charge 300-400 for one way, you can also get the bus service in the morning. Next stop is Dhaundi from Solang valley and from Dhaundi to Lohali is at a height of 9465 ft., distance between Dhaundi to Lohali is 3.5 kilometers, and it will take 4 hours to reach here. From Lohali to Beas Kund and back to Lohali will take 7hours.
Note: You will get the last shop at Dhundi, so stock up yourself before going further.

- Pack some essential things like a cap, sunglasses, raincoats, sunscreen, moisturizing cream and light weighted woolen clothes.
