1. Vitus Mythique

Chain Reactions bought Vitus Cycles with two goals in mind. The first was to revive Vitus Cycles and the second was for every cyclist to afford bikes.

Vitus bikes are the most affordable, and Vitus Mythique full suspension bikes are the most affordable I’ve ever seen.

It is modern, stylish, elegant, and appealing to the eye. Mythique has an ergonomic geometry that makes it perform, much like the rigs used by athletes.

Full suspension bikes come with an alloy frame, X Fusion forks, and a rear shock. Both have 130 mm travel. Shimano Deore drives the 10-speed bike. However, you can also upgrade to a 20-gear (2×10 crankset), if you so desire.

You can choose to have the Mythique as either a 29er for men or a 27.5″ bike for women. The Mythique is also equipped with Shimano MT401 hydraulic disc brakes.

You get a Brand-X Ascend seat post free of charge when you buy the Vitus Mythique. This will allow you to spend more time in the saddle.

If you like rolling on roots, rocks and finding a way to go where none is available, this bike will suit your needs. Although it’s not the best climber, it can be adapted to descents.

This bike is great for riding on trails and at the bike park. You don’t even have to go into the vault.

2. Ghost Kato FS Base

Ghost Kato’s bike is awesome, and while they offer a few models, the FS Base model is the most affordable.

It is made of aluminum and is designed for rugged trails and comfort all day. The Suntour XCR Coil Fork is paired with it, which gives 130mm of suspension. To match the 130mm of suspension, there is SR Suntour Radion at the rear.

SRAM SX Eagle gearing was used. This is an amazing group to have on a bike at such a low price. These have been paired with Shimano hydraulic disk brakes for outstanding stopping power and reliability.

Ghost is using their 27.5″ rims. They are fitted with WTB Ranger tires in 2.25″. This bike is very agile and grippy. For those tricky descents, the bike even has a dropper bar.

3. Marin Rift Zone 27.5 1

Marin’s Rift Zone 1 mountain bike is a full cross-country (XC), mountain bike with outstanding performance and a reasonable price. The entry-level 27.5 Marin bike is loaded with all the necessary features to make riding enjoyable.

The bike is also lightest in the $2,000 price bracket. It’s lightweight aluminum frame is made of high-quality materials and has slack geometry that makes it great for climbing and descents.

4. Giant Stance 29 ” 2

Are you going to chase the QOMs and KOMs? The Giant Stance 29-inch full suspension mountain bike is a great choice. It’s one of my favorite full suspension bikes.

Giant, the most well-known bicycle manufacturer, designed this bike for cyclists who want a full suspension bike, but cannot afford racing rigs.

It was a highly capable bike, but it didn’t cost a lot. The Stance 2 features a lightweight alloy frame in Matte Black or Gloss Gunmetal Black colors.

This Giant bike has a 130 mm Giant Crest fork, and a 120mm travel Suntour Raidon R back shock. It is one of the most fun budget rigs you will find on the trail.

5. Diamondback Atroz 2

Diamondback has a long history in off-road cycling. The Atroz is my favorite budget full-suspension bicycle on the list.

This frame is made of lightweight aluminum and looks amazing with its elegant grey color. The Suntour XCM suspension has 120mm travel and the SR Suntour Radion R with 100mm.

Although the group set is not essential, it does its job. The Shimano Acera M3000 is running on a 1X system. This unit is paired with Shimano Hydraulic disc brakes. 

. You can expect a good grip on technical terrain and lots of fun. The Atroz2 is a great value for money. Although the components are simple, they work and the bike will run well.

The Rift Zone is a 1×1 chainring bike with the Shimano BRMT201 hydraulic disc brakes and Shimano BRMT111 Shimano Deore Drivetrain. It has 180 mm rotors which are strong enough to stop the bike from moving.

The bike includes a RockShox Recon suspension fork and a 120 mm travel X-Fusion rear-shock. These two components make the bike very fast even on difficult terrain.
